There are various ways you can bring in future customers to your business and expertise. We will discuss three ways you can reach potential customers and keep them coming back.
Having a well-designed and informative Newsletter is one such way. This goes beyond just discussing your business or talent in the newsletter. You will need create and informative data that will catch your potential clients eye. This can be tricky, but with enough time in the research area of what your customers might prefer can be the key to the newsletter. For example, having an area for books, websites, recipes, and/or even quotes can liven up the newsletter and make things more personable. You can even entice your future customers with FREE give-away’s or prizes for contests. You can find online or in print Newsletter creation here at DataWorkZ.com for a reasonable fee.
Always keep in mind copyright’s, rules, and laws for using, distributing, and issuing contests as with any proper Newsletter, you should be following the content of the law. Sure, it doesn’t make it easy on you, but if you are creative and respect what you must, you will have a newsletter that any person would be happy to receive.
On top of that you will need to reach those people in a friendly and unique way. Delivering the newsletters by hand to your farming area is one of the most crucial points for a Real Estate salesperson or broker. On the other hand, some people find this intrusive and prefer getting the newsletters through the mail, which can generate another cost.
Three delivery techniques that are illegal to use are the delivering the newsletter to a person’s mailbox, delivering the newsletters to the hoods of cars in a parking lot, and soliciting at another’s place of business. It is best not to use those three techniques mentioned!
Another technique that is sure to bring in future clients or customers is the FREE eBook. Some places on the net now charge a reasonable fee to have one of these special gifts created. DataWorkZ.com is one company I am proud to mention that does create FREE eBooks and eBooks for purchase. The reason these FREE eBooks are so enticing is that it is often just the FREE part of the mention that will catch someone’s eye. In a free eBook you can:
1. sell advertising to others.
2. advertise and promote your business, website, or products.
3. discuss things relative to your customers needs and your product base or services.
4. offer free advice.
5. articles that are helpful or instructive business or personal related.
6. free sample of your product(s).
7. valuable insights, links, or instructions needed for your business.
8. reach targeted customers and the general public as well.
9. offer something most competitive companies might not have.
There are ways to write your own FREE eBook or have a professional create this for you. Depending on your experience and expertise, this may or may not be something you want to do. A professional appearance and the presentation can make all the difference in the world to a potential customer. This means having an eBook cover graphic that makes the eBook look and feel like a real online book cover and the inside pages designed with that same feeling. You want to keep those who read your FREE eBook coming back to your site for more, not leaving with a disgusted inhibition about your business, website, and or products. In an article entitled, “Did You Know This About FREE eBooks?”, a discussion more in depth about FREE eBooks and what you may not know about them might help to you prepare better for this endeavor.
Lastly, FREE Gifts and/or contests will also bring in the people to your website, newsletter, or even business location. Offer something people would want to win or receive FREE. With this technique, it is very wise to follow all state and federal laws concerning contests and give-away’s, so that you are holding a legal and legitimate contest and/or give-away. People love competition and they love freebies. Find a way to make this work for your business too! I have seen companies introduce their business venture by handing out free t-shirts with their business name or specific products depicted on them. Have a drop box on the counter or secretary desk with free pens with your business name and contacts on them and even better yet, have your customers fill out suggestions for a suggestion box. Or maybe even offer a contest with prizes of your products or some gifts such as music cd’s, books, eBooks, or even gift baskets. There are different ways to offer a contest too. This can be as easy as having contestants solve a problem and the best entry wins, or create a written essay on one of your products and have the best one win, offer prizes or gifts for the first 100 customers who walk in your door or who email you about your product(s), have a baby picture contest or photograph contest about your state. The key is to ‘be creative’, but not too over-the-top on the contest or give-away. Basically you want to capture their hearts and minds, but do it gently and not in a too aggressive pushy nature.
All in all, with these three specific customer grabbing ideas, you can create the positive customer flow to your business, website, newsletter, or product even. I do not know of an instance where either of these tactics hasn’t worked well for our DataWorkZ.com presence on the web. Good luck and put those creative ideas to action before your competition does!
