Who Should Become an eBook Publisher?

What defines an eBook Publisher? If you can answer this question and you like what you have defined an eBook Publisher to be, then perhaps you should consider becoming an eBook Publisher if you haven’t already.
Becoming your own publisher can mean many things to many different people. For example, a Publisher can mean that you publish other author’s eBooks or that you write and publish your own word works. Setting up as a publisher of either of these two types of eBook Publishers means different steps and set-up.
If you like eBooks you could become a RESELLER of other people’s eBooks. Or you could sell affiliate eBooks or partnership with JV’s to sell their eBooks along with your eBooks. But becoming a publisher means that you are doing the creating of the actual eProduct for sale. You have devoted time, energy, talent, money, and most importantly much effort into creating a finished product for sale. You will then place that item or eProducts up for sale and even complete the sale for the eBook.
There are just as many reasons for becoming an eBook Publisher, as there are Publishers! Perhaps even more since everyone has their own reasons and ideas. Some people may want to improve what is on the market today, or perhaps they have something of value for their readers, while some may want to produce original works of art or even produce eBooks that other people have written. Whatever your reasoning is, becoming a publisher can be a serious task and can also be most rewarding. Serious since you are providing works of words and information that you want people to read and to purchase, while rewarding due to earning considerable profits!
In this day and age, in order to become an eBook publisher is available to almost anyone. In some ways this is terrific as it affords the opportunity for anyone to become published and have their own publishing house. At the same token, it can be deadly as well since it may or may not cut into the large super companies profits and it can flood the market with many many choices. It has been reported at one time by another, that with too many choices, the consumer becomes very confused and will opt to not purchase the product or can easily become distracted elsewhere, so keep this in mind.
An individual who has been rejected in the past might get the chance to publish his or her works himself or herself. Becoming a publisher allows you greater freedom to produce more at a fraction of the cost or expense of having a traditional publisher produce your book in print or even a POD (Publisher On Demand) producing your book. While there are those who swear by Traditional In-Print Publishers, there is a great market online of increasingly valuable and rich content that gives any of the traditional publishers a run for their money. No more does one have to be rejected when they can now become their own publisher and sell their own works!
Becoming a publisher also gives you the owner more choices of the content you wish to display. You produce the product from start to finish, with or without an author, but essentially you choose what is presented in the eProduct or eBook. You can add in additional pages, features, music, or even pictures to create an astonishing eBook or eProduct. Whereas the traditional in-print publisher has followed the path of defined in-print books for years with specific layouts and sizes. Becoming an eBook Publisher affords you those options and more, much more! You are not so limited in what you can present inside an eBook or the particular size of it. If things get too large for downloads or sending via email, you can create chapters or even additional eBooks. The ranges of fonts, colors, styles, content, and even graphics are immense in this world. You will most likely see even more advances and options as we continue along this eBook Publishing road. In-Print has become confined to their printed works. eBooks are for the majority limitless and loosely defined. Some may consider this a fall-back for the publishing industry, but personally speaking, I feel this is one giant step forward and as we progress into the future, you will see great, creative works of words, and more eBooks of GRAND proportions!
